I am all that I can be

Sonata No. 14

Listen to it on a rainy day and all of a sudden you will be thinking about the ins and outs of the universe. It’s a dangerous thing, the combination of Classical music and a storm.

Quite thought provoking.

Love him. No matter what we go through.

Love him. No matter what we go through.

Color.

She thinks of Paint hitting Canvas.

It isn’t any kind of “art” yet.

She sees Paint.

She doesn’t care about the story,

or if it even makes sense.

She thinks of Paint, and how

It could be anything.

She thinks of Color.

Paint’s best friend,

Paint’s identity.

Her best friend,

Her identity.

She thinks of Color.

Cyan.

Wise. Quiet. Astute.

Cyan stares at her daily,

quietly sitting in the iris of her eye.

Cyan made her think.

Cyan taught her.

Cyan made her feel.

Cyan was a part of her.

Magenta.

Fervent and brash.

Magenta runs through her veins,

colors her heart,

blushes her cheeks.

Magenta strengthened her.

Magenta empowered her.

Magenta kept her alive.

Yes.

Magenta was a part of her, too.

And Yellow.

Charming, whimsical, Yellow.

What of the Artist did Yellow have?

Yellow had her soul.

Yellow kept her youthful.

Yellow kept her sane.

Yellow made her smile.

But most importantly,

Yellow made her think of Paint.

Finally.

Happiness.

To learn the hard way.

Who knew falling in love could end in confusion?

Who knew that the heart speaks louder than the head and gut put together?

Who knew that following your feelings could make people feel differently about you?

It is so hard to hold true to your conviction, especially if that conviction keeps changing on you.

I know what I want. I know how to get it. I know who will doubt me, and I don’t care.

I hate not talking to him.

When leaving a zoo

Run fast and scream “RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!! THEY’RE LOOSE!!”

Things to keep in mind.

Time does not fix everything. Sometimes it takes action.

There is a big difference between being kind, and being walked on.

It is up to you to decide who is important enough to be worth the stress.

If you cant make someone happy, let them be happy with someone else.

If you have to constantly ask yourself if something is worth it, it probably isnt.

You can sleep and dream of what you want, or you can wake up and go get it.

Before you are able to love anyone else, you have to love yourself.

Your mistakes should be your motivation, not your excuse.

If you believe in yourself, the world is yours.

Do not be afraid to allow something or someone change your life.

Accept what is unchangeable. Change what is unacceptable.

No matter what you do, do it for you.

Stop trying to be someone elses perfect.

Sometimes when people grow, they grow apart.

It is never worth it to give up what you want most for what you want now.

Dont get so caught up in the moment that you forget about the future.

The longer you wait to handle something, the harder it gets.

You shouldnt have to apologize for being yourself.

The first step in getting what you want is having the courage to get rid of what you dont.

Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.

Growing up doesnt mean being old enough to judge, it means being mature enough not to.

If you want credit for your successes, you have to take responsibility for your mistakes.

Accept what is unchangeable. Change what is unacceptable.

It feels so good to finally have some inspiration.

Can’t wait to paint.

Things change.

Forgiveness.

Everyone reading this— take a second and think about how you speak to other people.

Not just what you say, but how you say it.

Someone has spoken harshly to you, someone has criticized, mocked, even bullied you. At some point in your life, someone took it upon themselves to say something unnecessarily cruel to you.

You cried about it. You never forgot it. You hated them for it. You thought differently about yourself because of it. It is inevitably true, this has happened.

So here’s a question.

Have you ever been that bully? Have you ever spoken cruel words to someone? Have you said nasty things behind someone’s back?  At some point in your life, you have said something to make someone else feel bad about themselves.

They cried about it. They never forgot it. They hated you for it. They thought differently about themselves because of it. It is inevitably true— this has happened.

I am not saying this to make you feel guilty. Instead, I am asking you to acknowledge that both situations have happened— and I am asking you to “forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

No one is perfect— everyone has been hurt, and everyone has hurt someone else. It is how life teaches us lessons, however, we have to learn from those lessons.

Forgive the person who hurt you and forgive yourself. Life goes on.

Bring kindness to the forefront of your mind, and live by it.

Here’s something.

I believe in God. I have faith in God. I lean on that faith daily.

Now. I’m not the kind of believer who reads the Bible and takes it literally. There are some things I don’t believe actually happened, but I do believe those same stories hold some sort of moral value. I am not strict in my beliefs… I just believe that somewhere out there, there is a bigger entity responsible for everything that exists. I choose to call that entity “God”. I don’t think that entity is anything even remotely close to visible or tangible, but, I definitely believe in something bigger than everything, bigger than all of us. I can honestly say that I have faith in this entity. I believe it wants us all to succeed in our own lives, in our own paths, and I believe that no matter what our path becomes, this entity that I call “God” will love us.

I’m the kind of believer that sees how God works. I see how He works a little in my own life, at least. I don’t pray every day, I don’t look down upon anyone for their own beliefs, and I don’t discredit other religions, but I have faith.

I believe that kindness is a mindset, happiness is a choice, and love is easy.
